Farewell to our Holiday Programme

Kia ora whānau,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our beloved Holiday Programme, which has been a cherished part of our centre for over 20 years.

​

From bouncy castle fun to messy crafts right through to nerf fun wars to out of centre days exploring Tāmaki Makaurau – this programme has brought joy, creativity, and connection to not only the tamariki and families within our community, but for our staff and volunteers at the Blockhouse Bay Community Centre.

This news may come with mixed emotions (and trust us - we feel it too). Saying goodbye to something is never easy but as we close this chapter, we do so with pride in what we've achieved and deep gratitude to everyone who has been part of the journey — our staff, volunteers, parents, and of course, the amazing kids who made it all worthwhile.

While the doors to the Holiday Programme may be closing, we’re excited for what’s in store for our Centre — new ideas, fresh initiatives, and opportunities to continue serving our community in meaningful ways throughout the school holidays.
